The United States of America (also referred to as the United States, the U.S., the USA, or America) is a federal constitutional republic comprising fifty states and a federal district. The country is situated mostly in central North America, where its forty-eight contiguous states and Washington, D.C., the capital district, lie between the Pacific and Atlantic Oceans, bordered by Canada to the north and Mexico to the south. The state of Alaska is in the northwest of the continent, with Canada to the east and Russia to the west across the Bering Strait. The state of Hawaii is an archipelago in the mid-Pacific. The country also possesses several territories in the Caribbean and Pacific.
At 3.79 million square miles (9.83 million km2) and with over 310 million people, the United States is the third or fourth largest country by total area, and the third largest both by land area and population. It is one of the world's most ethnically diverse and multiculturalnations, the product of large-scale immigration from many countries.[6] The U.S. economyis the world's largest national economy, with an estimated 2009 GDP of $14.3 trillion (a quarter of nominal global GDP and a fifth of global GDP at purchasing power parity).[3][7]
Indigenous peoples of Asian origin as well as haplogroup X have inhabited what is now the mainland United States for many thousands of years. This Native American population was greatly reduced by disease and warfare after European contact. The Native Americans had belonged to various tribal groups and lived in small villages and did not coalesce to form larger political units. Because they lacked central organization, they were easily subjugated by outsiders.
The United States was founded by thirteen British colonies located along the Atlantic seaboard. On July 4, 1776, they issued the Declaration of Independence, which proclaimed their right to self-determination and their establishment of a cooperative union. The rebellious states defeated the British Empire in the American Revolution, the first successful colonial war of independence.[8] The current United States Constitution was adopted on September 17, 1787; its ratification the following year made the states part of a single republic with a strong central government. The Bill of Rights, comprising tenconstitutional amendments guaranteeing many fundamental civil rights and freedoms, was ratified in 1791.
In the 19th century, the United States acquired land from FranceSpain, the United KingdomMexico, and Russia, and annexed the Republic of Texas and the Republic of Hawaii. Disputes between the agrarian South and industrial North over states' rights and the expansion of the institution of slavery provoked the American Civil War of the 1860s. The North's victory prevented a permanent split of the country and led to the end of legal slaveryin the United States. By the 1870s, the national economy was the world's largest.[9] TheSpanish–American War and World War I confirmed the country's status as a military power. It emerged from World War II as the first country with nuclear weapons and a permanent member of the United Nations Security Council. The end of the Cold War and the dissolution of the Soviet Union left the United States as the sole superpower. The country accounts for 40% of global military spending and is a leading economic, political, and cultural force in the world.[10]

Kpop

Hi ! (=

Maybe ? 0.o
Or maybe I'm posting this for my friends ?
Idk ~
Anyways , these are taken from other websites .

I'm gonna type their website at the end of the whole paragraph .
Hope you guys love it ;)

K-pop (an abbreviation of Korean pop or Korean popular music) is a musical genre consisting ofelectronichip hoppoprock, and R&B music originating in South Korea. In addition to music, K-pop has grown into a popular subculture among teenagers and young adults throughout the continent of Asia, resulting in widespread interest in the fashion and style of top Korean idol groups and singers.[9]
Through the presence of Facebook fan pages, availability on iTunesTwitter profiles, and music videos on YouTube, the ability of K-pop to reach a previously inaccessible audience via theInternet is driving a paradigm shift in the exposure and popularity of the genre.[10]

History

1990s: Conception and industrialization

The debut of the group Seo Tai-ji & Boys in 1992 was a turning point for popular music in South Korea. Incorporating elements of popular musical genres in the United States such as rap rock and techno, the group had tremendous success in South Korea. Hip hop duos such asDeux also became popular in the early 1990s.

Jonghyun, lead vocalist of the boy bandSHINee, is a popular K-pop artist.
Lee Soo Man broke K-pop barriers in 1995 with the formation of SM Entertainment, South Korea’s largest entertainment agency.[11] Soon to follow were YG EntertainmentDSP Entertainment, andJYP Entertainment, all of which began producing highly successful artists.[12]
The first K-pop girl groups and boy bands began appearing in the mid to late 1990s. Groups such as as Fin.K.Lg.o.d.H.O.T.Sechs Kies, and S.E.S. were hugely successful throughout Asia. The 1990s also saw a surge in the popularity of hip hop and R&B music in South Korea, with artists such as Epik HighDrunken TigerMC Mong, and 1TYM launching successful careers.

2000s: Globalization

Today, apprenticeship is the universal strategy for nurturing girl groups, boy bands, and solo artists in the K-pop industry. To guarantee the high probability of success of new talent, talent agencies fully subsidize and oversee the professional lives and careers of trainees, often spending in excess of $400,000 to train and launch a new artist.[13] Through this practice of apprenticeship, which often lasts two years or more, trainees hone their voices, learn professional choreography, sculpt and shape their bodies through exercise, and study multiple languages all while attending school.[14]
K-pop is gradually gaining influence in foreign markets outside of Asia, most notably in the United StatesCanada and Australia. In 2010, solo artist Taeyang and girl group 2NE1 began topping various music charts throughout the United States and Canada with the release of various albums and hit songs.[15]
In 2009, the Wonder Girls became the first Korean singers to place on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100chart with their single, Nobody.[16]
K-pop artists are increasingly working with talent outside of Korea in a push to further globalize the genre. In the United States, artists from Korea are touring with groups like the Jonas Brothers[17] and collaborating with producers including Kanye WestRodney Jerkins,[18] andwill.i.am.[19]

Popularity

In ChinaJapan, and the entire region of Southeast Asia, K-pop culture has become so popular that authorities and nationalists fear that it is leading to a xenocentric preference for Korean styles and ideas.[20]

Headache

Hi ! ><'
I really got a painful headache yesterday .
Morning - Night !
It really hurts ...

headache or cephalgia is pain anywhere in the region of the head or neck. It can be asymptom of a number of different conditions of the head and neck.[1] The brain tissue itself is not sensitive to pain because it lacks pain receptors. Rather, the pain is caused by disturbance of the pain-sensitive structures around the brain. Several areas of the head and neck have these pain-sensitive structures, which are divided in two categories: within the cranium (blood vessels, meninges, and the cranial nerves) and outside the cranium (the periosteum of the skull, musclesnervesarteries and veinssubcutaneous tissueseyesearssinuses and mucous membranes).
There are a number of different classification systems for headaches. The most well-recognized is that of the International Headache Society. Treatment of a headache depends on the underlying etiology or cause, but commonly involves analgesics.
